The Bursary allowed me to pay off my loan that I needed to take in order to afford accommodation for the college year, taking a little bit off of my shoulders. Without the bursary, now in retrospect, I don’t think I would have been able to attend college in first year. The application process was not difficult. From what I recall, it was relatively easy, and the fact that you only have to apply once, and not every single year like with SUSI is beneficial.
